Monday to Friday 10-15 you can visit our information desk in Zoom. No booking is required, just click the link.
Our opening hours can be changed at short notice
At the library
If you visit the library building, we are grateful if you as long as possible borrow and return books in the self service machine, and keep a distance to other persons in the building. We have study areas on every floor, also in the basement, please sit where there is plenty of space.
Study areas are open, but with restrictions
Keep the distance, don't sit or stand close together. No rooms for group studies are available.
For everyone's sake - please follow the instructions within the library.
If social distancing is not secured and maintained, the study areas at the Faculty of Social Sciences, incl. Eden and Sambib, can be closed.
Loan periods and overdue fees
No overdue fees is generated as from Thursday 19 March 2020.
Overdue fees will be reintroduced 1 February 2021.
Course books can now be renewed automatically 11 times, if there is no reservation. This is a temporary extension.
Loan periods are still normal, and reminders are sent as usual.
If you can't come to the library
You can return books by ordinary mail, if no one can return them for you.
If you are ill, in quaratine, or stuck due to travel restrictions, please return books as soon as the circumstances allows you to.
You can send someone else to pick up your requested books for you. That person need to bring your library card, your ID and their own ID.
