Requesting material from the stacks
If the book you are looking for is in the stacks, this will be indicated in LUBcat and you need to request it via the LUBcat request button which features in each post.
When the book is available for pick-up a notification is sent to the email address in your library account.
A journal requested from our stacks will be available at our information desk the following weekday at 12:00. Journals are not sent to other libraries.
You can only return books during library opening hours, we do not have a book drop. The book drop closest to Sambib is on the western side of the University Library. Books, returned in book drops, are checked in the following working day. Course books that are overdue then will generate an overdue fee.
