Articles and journals

To search for articles and journals, you can use several different services, which provide either the material in full text or a reference to an article in a printed journal.

Journals

Electronic journals

Use LUBsearch to search for articles. If you are looking for a specific journal, you can search in LUBcat to get a link to the journal’s website. You can also find the electronic journals in the ePublications connected to LUBsearch.

LUBsearch

In order to search for an e-journal title, use ePublications

Printed journals

LUBcat, the library catalogue, lists the printed journals which are available at Lund University libraries, with information on where they are located. You cannot search for individual articles in LUBcat.

Printed issues of journals at Sambib are available in open shelves on the second floor in the library Journals must be read in the library – they cannot be taken home.

If you want to search only for Swedish articles, you can search the databases Retriever Research, for example. If you are searching for articles in English, use LUBsearch.

If the article is not available at Lund University, you can search for the journal in Libris and then request an interlibrary loan.
