LUCRIS AND LUND UNIVERSITY RESEARCH PORTAL
The Research Portal will get a new interface
Lund University Research Portal will be upgraded this autumn. Some of the biggest changes are maps that will illustrate collaborations within and outside of Lund University, both on personal and organizational level. The search functionality will be improved and machine generated, so-called Fingerprints and PlumX Altmetrics will automatically be added to different levels.
As a user, you don’t need to do anything if you are happy with how it looks. The Personal overview in LUCRIS backend will also change in this upgrade. If you would like to adjust what is displayed in the public Research Portal, you might want to change some settings in LUCRIS backend.
Register and visualize different aspects of your research by using LUCRIS, Lund University’s Current Research Information System.
LUCRIS allows you to add different types of activities (scholarly as well as outside of academia), projects and publications. By adding information to the database, different aspects of your research will be visualized in the Research Portal. This information can be seen by colleagues both within and outside the university, as well as by the media and the interested public. It is also possible for administrators to create reports based on the information in LUCRIS, in order to look at and analyze the research conducted at Lund University from different perspectives.
LUCRIS is the system’s input interface, while Research Portal is the public portal where the information is displayed.
